He is a member of a famous Mexican circus family and for a lot of time he has drawn the attention of circus world as an acrobat to himself. Later he was an organizer acrobat and performing director and his name is among the most important agents of Las Vegas. Since 1974 for 11 years the Festival of Monte Carlo was directed by him. During this period he knew more than 400 circus performances. He is a passionate talent-scout, he is the director of that festival of acrobats which is organized in every two years in Verona, and where the young circus stars give shows.

Gábor Ötvös has spent more than 50 years in life as an acrobat, and he appears nowadays as an active artist with his performance titled "There is another one", which is musical clown performance. He is the doyen of circus art, and during his career, he has travelled round the world, and people could give him a standing ovation. Not only did he perform in Europe but in the USA, South-America, Japan and Australia with big success. He is the favorite of children when he gives pleasure with his music clown performance, which has his own humor. He is an awarded artist with Jászai Prize, he is awarded with order of the Hungarian Republic and he is the honorary president of Hungarian Society of artists.

Under the modern dome he shows a luxurious stage show with dozens of colorful and difficult equipment in dazzling costumes performed complete ballet. Everything is shown in the same level as they are shown in the most exclusive shows in Las Vegas and Paris. In the show appear the most talented artists of the circus world, some awarded acrobats with their performances and trainers with wild animals. Mr. Tihany colors every his performance with his illusion performances. He descends to the stage from a white Rolls Roys and the effect he increases with a live elephant in front of the audience which consists of 5000 people. Show Tihany usually visits Brazil,Mexico, Argentina,Columbia,Florida,Mississippi and other states of the USA and other countries of Latin-America.

He is one of the well-known producers of theatre performances in Japan. Yoshimoto company directed by him was found in 1912. At the beginning music halls where only in Tokyo, later in whole Japan. The continuously growing company deals with literature, art, making films since the 50-s and they open the famous "Manzar School" of theatre and dramaturgy. In spite of the problems caused by the war they undertook a remarkable role in building and renovating theaters. This buildings are among the most modern and most elegant ones. In the meantime with the direction of Mr. Nakamura the company enlarged, its activity towards the television networks (Especially towards NGK and Yoshimoto channels) and towards the domestic and commercial centres.

A lot of the performances of his company (acrobats, clowns, trained animals, magicians ..etc) usually perform in the circuses and festivals of the five continents.
